If I were Katniss I would defenetley sacrafice for my family or friend because I would rather die than have someone close to me die. Also I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through killing people, your friends to survive. If I were in Katniss' situation except it was my brother because I dont have a sister. I would have stepped forward and taken his place in a heartbeat. Me and my friend Chloe have known each other since we could talk, she is my best friend in the whole universe and she means the world to me I would sacrifice myself for her any day. I think what Katniss did for her sister was very brave, courageous, and life changing. I probabaly would not have done it for someone who had a better chance of survival than me, but if me and them were very close than I probably still would have.
