HUNGER GAMES

If anybody in my family was chosen I would volunteer for them but it depends on who it is. If it was my mom, sister, cousins, and aunt’s those are the people that I would do it for in my family. I would also do it for my friends because I would not want them to go an arena where you have to kill people. I would volunteer for my mom and sister and aunt`s because I think that I have a more likely hood of wining then them. I would also volunteer for some of my cousins because most of them are younger then me so I would do better then them. I would volunteer for a kid that is really young so that they didn`t have to kill or get killed. These are the people and reasons why I would do what Katniss did for prim.

I would sacrifice my life for the people that support these reasons. The people who love me make me happy and make me smile, the people who support me and i absolutly can't live without, the people who never let me give up ,who never let me loose faith , the ones that i can count on to be there for me whenever i need the help. I would sacrifice my life for the important people in my life such as, my family {mother, father, 2 sisters } Because without them i wouldn't have anybody in my life and you need love in your life. Iwould also sacrifice my life for for my closest friends because without them my life would be a mess! Those are the people that i would sacrifice my life for and the reasons why i would sacrifice my life for them.

I would do what Katniss did for these reasons. First of all if I had a younger sister I would defiantly step up and take her palce nowing that I might never see my family again. The people I would do it for is my parents and my two sisters. Second of all I would do because if there were a dissabled person and they wern't as good at handling a bow and arrow. If there were a 12 year old kid that didn't really no anything about the Hunger Games I would step up. If were Katniss I would be really sad , but I would be doing the right thing for my sister. I think Katniss was sad when her sisters name was called. Thrid fo all I would do it because I would know that my family would be cheering me on and my sister would hope that I would win but I would also miss my friends. For example if 7 year old that had no experence at hunting . Those are the reasons why I would step up if I had a younger sister, a person that is dissable, and that I would be really sad and miss my family.

Yes, I would make the sacrifice that Katniss did to protect my friends and family I would sacrifice myself for my younger brother,my grandparents,and my cousins but not all of them.

First, I would risk my life for my brother because he is smaller and younger than me and not that good of a fighter. Next I wouldn’t sacrifice me for my older brother because he is faster,stronger and is a red belt in karate. I would volunteer for my grandparents because they are weak and cannot fend for themselves. I definitely would step up for them because one is four years old and the other I would risk my life for because he is and not as strong as me. I would sacrifice for any of my friends because friends help you through almost everything. Those are the reason why and why not i would do what Katniss did.

katniss was very brave to volunteer for such a gruesome sport that almost promise you to die. I would definitely make that sacrifice to my family and friends I would be very scared to go into these games. the reason I would make this sacrifice is because if I had let my friends or family go and one of them had die I could never live with myself I would be depressed and sad for the rest of my life. I would hope that if I died in the hunger games I would not be forgotten but I wouldn't leave a scar in my friends and family's hearts. I would hate for north America and Canada to be like that separated to districts and would hate the government to be like that. a very important thing is that if Erin got chosen I wouldn't let her go up and be in the hunger games because she is an amazing friend and so are all my others such as Hannah,Nicole,Alta,and much more.that is why I would step up and volunteer for my friends and family.

If I put in the place of Katniss I would volunteer for my little sister Shawna. Because she would not do very good at all. I probably wouldn't volunteer for any one else because I know that they could handle themselves, considering my parents are both police officers and my brother works out. My sister is also the smallest and would have the worst chance of surviving! I would also volunteer for my two grandmas and my grandpa because I would hate to lose them and also grandma and grandpa both have trouble walking, and my grandma is looking after my grandpa. I would also volunteer for my friends and best friends,and my second cousin because he is just a baby. Those are the people I would volunteer for!

If I were Katniss I would volunteer for my sister because I am stronger and smarter and I would probably do better then her. I would probably not volunteer for the rest of my family because they are all bigger then me and stronger then me. I would also volunteer for my 2 grandmas because 1 of them has had both her hips replaced and just had her knee replaced and my other grandma is taking care of my Grandpa because he cant handle himself. I would also volunteer for all my younger cousins and my 2 younger second cousins because one is a few months and the other is 4. Also I would sacrifice for my Best Friends. Those are the reasons why I would sacrifice my self for these people.

Yes i would volunteer for the hunger game but i would only for family members like Katniess did for

her sister. The main people i would do it for is would be my sister (maybe) because she is all way

there for me some time not in the greatest mood all the time but she still is there for me. Also my

mom because they probly will not win and they are important to me and she has givin birth to me

and if it was not for her i would not be in this world and it would be alot harder to lose her then me

(even tho i would not have a good Chance ether.) But i would not do it for my dad because he is

ALOT stronger then me and better with weapons and just about everthing that you would need to

win ! and i might do it for my friends only if they were really important to me because friends mean

alot to me. Also I would also step in for my 3 grandparents because i love them and if it was not for

them my mom and dad would not be here and so then i would not be here. I would also do it for my

cousins and aunts because they are family and and i would miss them to much. but

not uncles because they are alot stronger then me like my dad and they would have alot betther

chance of wining then me. Those are most of the people i would step up for if there was a hunger

If I were to risk my life for another person it wouldn't be just anyone it would have to be some important in my life like my parents, grandparents, other important family (aunts, uncles and and of course my friends. If it were for my mom I would risk my like for her by doing anything that could hurt her and I know she wouldn't let me but I would do anything so she has no harm in her life. For my friends I could not stand to see them hurt I would do exactly what Katniss did leave them and not know if I will come back or not not knowing if I will ever see them again. And for my Grandma I cant even say what I would do for her I would do anything for her she means so much to me more than words can say.

If I were Katniss I would defenetley sacrafice for my family or friend because I would rather die than have someone close to me die. Also I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through killing people, your friends to survive. If I were in Katniss' situation except it was my brother because I dont have a sister. I would have stepped forward and taken his place in a heartbeat. Me and my friend Chloe have known each other since we could talk, she is my best friend in the whole universe and she means the world to me I would sacrifice myself for her any day. I think what Katniss did for her sister was very brave, courageous, and life changing. I probabaly would not have done it for someone who had a better chance of survival than me, but if me and them were very close than I probably still would have.

A. I would sacrifice my life for someone like Katniss did for Prim but it wouldn’t be just for anyone it would have to be for someone who is important in my life, and who i wouldn’t be able to live without. I would do it for my parents, my grandma,my aunt, my uncle, my little cousins and for my little brother. Those are all people who i would do it for and would probably not be able to live without. I don’t think that any of those people would be happy on my decision. I would sacrifice for my little brother and little cousins because they are small and they have there whole lives to experience and enjoy. I would do it for my parents, grandma, aunt and uncle because they are always there for me to support me and because they are very important to me and i don’t think that i would be able to live without them. Those are the important people in my life that i would sacrifice my life for.

If i were in katniss's situation i would be willing to sacrifice for some people sutch as my family members at the cost of my life. It would be hard but there would be some members of my family would be more likely to win then me. As for my friends i would make a sacrifice for Nicole or Jamie and Alysha and others depending on the situation.I would sacrifice for someone i know that is young or stands no chance. I know that others would do the same. I would do this because it would hurt more to lose a loved one then to be killed myself. Yes I would sacrifice my life like Katness did with her sister. The people I would sacrifice for would be my sister Brooke, my mom, my dad, and all my close friends. I would sacrifice for my sister Brooke because she has always been the best sister in the whole world and we almost never fight. Also I would sacrifice my life for her because I know she would probably do the same thing for me. I would sacrifice for my mom because she gave birth to me so without her I wouldn't even be alive. Also I would like to point out that if Analee was chosen I would sacrifice my life for her but she would probably say now even if I insisted she wouldn't allow of it.

Because they are close to me and I wouldn’t be able to live with my self and I would hope they would protect me and do the same for me. If someone got hurt or worse and I know that I could have done something to save them or prevent it from happening I would to help them out as a favor.I would think they would help me if something like that happened to me. I would just hope that the consequences aren’t that bad and I can live through it and it was like nothing happened. Q: Would you be willing to do what Katniss did for her sister even through it meant extreme consequence.

I would be willing to do what Katniss did for sister for several reasons. First of all I would be willing to sacrifice for my Mom, my little cousins, my brothers, and my dad, and some of my really close friends. I would sacrifice for my mom because she is always there for me and my brothers and if we lost her none of us would no what to do. I would also sacrifice for my dad because he is always there for me as well. He teaches me new thing every day that I would know today if it weren’t for him. I would also sacrifice for my brothers because as much much as they get on my nerves I still love them and thought they would probably do better at the fighting challenge then me I would probably still do it for them. I would also probably sacrifice for my little cousins as well because they are still little and have got to experience all the cool things that I have got to experience. Although I have not got to experience everything in life as well they still should have a fair chance in life as well. Last but not least I would sacrifice for some of my close friends because they mean a lot to me and I could not imagine life with out them. Now that I am done telling you the people that I would sacrifice for I think that some of them would not let them would not let me sacrifice for them because they would say that I am still young and they are older. Ow right I forgot some one my Nana my Nana is someone that I would sacrifice for because she does everything for me and I mean everything. She picks me up if I need to be. She does everything for me and my cousin Nicole. She comes to all my in town hockey games and she will always be by side no matter what happens. To start off with is yes i would make this sacrifice but not for everybody. I would make the big sacrifice for my mom my dad but not my brother, I would sacrifice for my Grandma, my cousin Scott, and Barry and not my friends

I would sacrifice for my mom because shes the one who gave birth to me shes my mom. Also I would sacrifice for her because she’s a terrible at fighting. I would sacrifice for my Grandma because she’s like my mom she is terrible at fighting and she doesn’t move like she used to. I would sacrifice for my Cousin Scott because he is just little and he should get to live a good long life like everyone is supposed to. I would sacrifice for my cousin Taylor because she is really fun and she is apart of my family. I would sacrifice for Barry because he does allot for me, he comes to all my Baseball games last year and he comes to all my hockey games and sometimes when I need to go somewhere he is there to take me. I wouldn’t volunteer my friends because I would rather lose a friend then a family member, I know it would be bad and sad to lose a friend but not as bad as losing a family member. I wouldn’t volunteer for my dad because he can beat me up so I wouldn’t do any better than he could, well he would probably go farther in the challenge than me because he is stronger. These are all the people I would sacrifice for and why I just want to say I’m thankful for all the people I would sacrifice for!!

Iam not sure whether I would volenter for any one like Katniss in the Hungar Games. Probably not my brother because he is strong and could probably handel it. Ithink he has more pysicial abilities than say my grandparents or parentsly sure whether or not I would through my self . If it was something he really didn't exell in I would probably step in for him in that synairio.I am not sure ,but I would probably step in for any of my four granparents and or my parents. I would only do it sometimes though. Maybe when this concequence required more physicial ability than not that is when I would step in for any of them. I might also step in for someone like my little cousions Nate and Lily. I would do this because they would have a disadvantage because both of them are less than 6 years old , they would have a disadvantage in all most any thing (physicial or mential they would have a disadvantage)

Hunger Games Blog Reflection

As the novel, "The Hunger Games" has progressed, we see the main character, Katniss Everdeen, make an extremely difficult decision - to step in for her sister Prim at the reaping.  Doing this means much uncertainty for Katniss, and based on past Games', she knows that it may even mean death for her. 

This immense sacrifice demonstrates her love for her sister, as well as her need to protect her at all costs.  Would you be willing t make this kind of sacrifice and take the place of someone else, even if you knew it might mean serious consequences for you?  For whom would you make this sacrifice? Are there any people for whom you might not make this kind of sacrifice? 

Be honest and open about your thoughts.  Expand on some of the scenarios in which you would do it for sure, and others in which you would really have to think long and hard about it.
