Brainiac Intermediate Addition!!!

Do you think you know everything in the grade seven curriculum from math to science and art and many more. Well my partners Arly Mitchell, Robyn Henderson and I would like to test your knowledge by using are originally designed grade seven based game board called Brainiac Intermediate Edition! Our game board is good for review and practise for tests or just for fun. We know that our game board is good for this because we actually got the grade seven curriculum and made up questions based on it. In each room you go to you would have to collect a specific piece that would correspond with the room that you are in. I had to get al the questions for the cards while Robyn had to design the game board and Arly made up the detention and hall pass cards. The process that probably took the most time was when we had to write out the card and go over them with black marker, erase the lines from the pencil and then colour them. I think that making a game board was a really fun idea and I had lots of fun in the process of making it. I liked how we all worked together and got equal amount of work. I also enjoyed playing the finished product and seeing how everything just all came together and even though we ran into a few problems we just fixed them and just continued on all our hard work until it was finished. I think that some things we could have changed where the amount of materials that we used because we used a lot of paper for the cards and we almost didn't have enough but we cut down the number of cards for each category so we did have enough. Also I think that was should have gotten the rules and instructions done earlier so that we could have printed them off in colour. I had a lot of fun in the process and I am very happy with the outcome and I hope Arly and Robyn did to, and to all our people the wish to play our game board I hope you enjoy it and learn lots.

  2. I think that you, Robyn, and Arly's idea for a game board is a really good one and the way you presented the game board was most entertaining. The finished product looks like a real game board.

  8. Erin, you did a very thorough job of explaining the process of the creation of your game, as well as explaining how to play. I liked that you reflected on specific snags you hit while you were creating the game, and how you might make changes if you were to undertake a project like this again. With regards to the actual content of the game, the few sample questions we tried out were absolutely right out of the curriculum, and might I add, pretty challenging!!! Very thoughtful post, and well done overall. MrB
