20% project

For my 20% project  am writing a book about a girl named Amy whose mom died and she keeps having nightmares about the raven that spooked her moms horse causing her death so she and her friend Matt go on a journey to help her get rid of the dreams. The book is kind of revolving around native culture.
If you dont no what the 20% project is it is were you can choose to do ANYTHING (with some exceptions) you want that should have a language component. I found this project really great because we had the freedom of choice and could pick any topic of interest and there are so many unique ideas.
During this process i did mostly righting and some typing and brain storming. If i could do it again i would more carefully plan it because i ended  up cramming all the typing and other stuff on the last night.
I found the 20% project fun and a great experience all together.

  2. Hannah i love your book its amazing.I love the story and plot and how our books connect i think your 20% project is awesome and defiantly one of the best!! i also love the way you right you add emphasis all of the little things in your book. I think it makes the story way more interesting to read. when your focused on something and you really put your mind to it you can get it done and make it really good.
i loved your book and i hope i get to read the second one as soon as its done maybe we could connect our books again. thumbs up Hannah.:)!!

  3. I think you did a really good job on your blog Hannah and I loved the outcome. I didn't really run in to the same problem as you because I was working in a group so we didn't nearly have as much work as you had to do. For having to work alone I think you did amazing. Even though you only read one page it really drawed me in and I really want to read the whole book. For my project I also had to brainstorm a lot because I had to come up with over 200 questions!!! I love the idea of your book and I can't wait to hear more of it!

  4. Hannah, I am really glad to hear that you enjoyed the project. You did a good job of explaining some of the considerations you had to make, and also some of the challenges you faced. You were accurate with some of your suggestions, about spacing some of the work out, but that was the beauty of the project, that people had the opportunity to work at whatever pace worked best for them, and hopefully make it to the end by the designated time... which everyone did. Your overall product was excellent, and I am really glad that you were able to choose something to really sink your teeth into. Well done, MrB
